Software Engineer
Build and scale the platform that secures some of the biggest codebases in the world, from the SvelteKit frontend to the Python scanning engine and Kubernetes infrastructure.
About the Role
You will own major parts of the ZeroPath platform end to end. The product spans everything from the dashboard that security teams use daily, to the scanning engine that orchestrates AI agents to reason about code like a human researcher, to the infrastructure that runs it all at scale. We ship fast, deploy per-branch, and run 200k+ scans a month across some of the largest codebases in the world. On a team of six, every engineer has outsized ownership and direct impact on what customers see.
What You'll Do
- Design and build features across the full stack: SvelteKit, Python, PostgreSQL, Prisma, tRPC, and more
- Build integrations with GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Slack, Linear, and CI/CD systems
- Build custom intergrations for security teams and work with them directly to improve the user experience and scanner in general.
- Improve observability and reliability using Datadog, Pino logging, and PostHog analytics
- Ship production code to Kubernetes clusters managed by Pulumi across AWS and GCP
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Python
- Experience with modern web frameworks (SvelteKit, Next.js, React, or similar)
- Familiarity with relational databases, ORMs, and API design (PostgreSQL, Prisma, tRPC)
- Experience building and operating production services (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar)
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, small-team environment with high autonomy
Nice to Have
- Background in application security, static analysis, or developer tooling
- Familiarity with LLM integrations (LangChain, OpenAI SDK, Anthropic SDK)
- Experience with Pulumi, Terraform, or similar IaC tools
