Customer Engineer

Be the technical bridge between ZeroPath and our customers. Deploy the platform, build integrations, and ensure security teams get value from day one.

About the Role

Enterprise security teams are replacing Snyk, Semgrep, and legacy SAST stacks with ZeroPath. They need a partner who understands both their security requirements and our platform deeply. You will run technical evaluations, architect integration strategies across GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket and CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot deployment issues, and make sure customers see real results fast. You sit between engineering, sales, and the customer, and your feedback shapes the product roadmap directly.

What You'll Do

  • Lead technical onboarding and deployment for new enterprise customers
  • Architect integration strategies across version control platforms (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Run proof-of-concept evaluations and technical demos tailored to customer security requirements
  • Troubleshoot scanning issues, configuration problems, and integration edge cases
  • Translate customer feedback and feature requests into actionable product requirements
  • Build and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and customer-facing guides

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years in a customer engineering, solutions engineering, or technical customer-facing role
  • Strong understanding of application security concepts: SAST, SCA, secrets scanning, vulnerability triage
  • Experience with version control platforms, CI/CD systems, and developer workflows
  • Ability to read code and debug issues across Python, TypeScript, or similar languages
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfort working directly with CISOs, security leads, and engineering teams at large organizations

Nice to Have

  • Experience deploying or evaluating SAST/SCA/AppSec tooling (Snyk, Semgrep, Checkmarx, SonarQube)
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, HIPAA)
  • Background in cybersecurity, penetration testing, or security operations
  • Prior startup experience in a customer-facing technical role
