Overview
The ZeroPath dashboard has two fixed areas around every page:- The sidebar on the left holds your organization, the pages of the product grouped by what they are about, and your account.
- The top bar above the page shows where you are, filters the page by repository, and holds Connect MCP, the Assistant, Jobs and Help.
The sidebar
Organization switcher
The first row of the sidebar shows your current organization. Click it to open the Organization list and switch to another organization. When you belong to more than four organizations, the list ends with + N organizations, which opens the full list. Members with the Invite Members permission also see Invite team members here.Pages
The sidebar lists these entries, in this order:
Repository permissions such as View Repository count when you hold them on at least one repository. A group heading appears only when you can open at least one entry in it.
Two entries sit at the bottom of the sidebar for every member:
- Integrations opens Settings › Integrations. Every member manages their own MCP connections there. Members with integration permissions also manage the organization’s integrations there.
- Settings opens the first Settings page you can open, which is General for every member. See The Settings menu.
The Create menu
The + button next to the ZeroPath logo opens the Create menu:- Start scan opens the scan dialog. It needs the Start Scans permission on at least one repository.
- Add repository opens the dialog for adding repositories on the Repositories page. It needs the Create Repositories permission.
Account menu
The bottom row of the sidebar shows your name and email. Click it to open the account menu:- The Organization list, the same as in the organization switcher.
- Schedule a demo, when your account can book one.
- Your Full name and Email.
- Account settings, which opens Settings › General.
- Logout.
Collapsing the sidebar
The button at the bottom right of the sidebar, Collapse sidebar or Expand sidebar, switches between the full sidebar and a narrow icon-only one. ZeroPath remembers your choice for your next visit. Until you choose, the sidebar collapses on its own when the browser window is 1280 pixels wide or narrower and expands on wider windows. When the sidebar is collapsed:- Each entry shows only its icon. Hover over it to see its name.
- Group headings become thin dividers.
- The + Create menu moves below the organization switcher.
- The account menu and the What’s new strip are hidden. Expand the sidebar to reach them. The Help button in the top bar shows a dot when there is an unread release.
Keyboard shortcuts
These shortcuts work anywhere in the dashboard, except while you are typing in a field or while a dialog or menu is open. A shortcut is available only when you have the permission for its action.
Escape closes an open menu. Press ?, or choose Keyboard shortcuts in the Help menu, to see the shortcuts available to you.
The top bar
From left to right, the top bar holds:- Breadcrumb. The page you are on and the pages above it, for example Settings › Repository tags or Issues › the issue title. Each part links back to its page.
- Repository filter. When your organization has repository tags or teams, a filter chip narrows the page to the repositories you choose. Its Filter repositories panel has a Tags section and a Teams section, each with a Match setting. When you pick both tags and teams, Combine tags & teams sets how the two combine. The Audit log page always covers the whole organization, so it does not show this filter.
- Connect MCP. Opens Settings › Integrations, where you connect an AI coding agent to ZeroPath over MCP. See Remote MCP.
- Assistant. Opens the Assistant quick chat in a drawer over the current page. The button shows its shortcut, ⌘J on macOS or Ctrl J elsewhere. The drawer uses the same conversations as the Assistant page, and Open in Assistant opens the current conversation there. The button is shown to members with the Run Agent permission.
- Jobs. Your own patches, investigations, PoCs and runtime checks in the current organization, grouped into Running, Needs attention and Done today. While jobs run, the button reads N running, with a red dot if a job has failed. When jobs have failed and none is running, it reads N failed. Clear removes the jobs listed under Done today.
- Help. Opens the Help menu.
The Help menu
The Settings menu
Every Settings page, and every scanner configuration page, shows the same Settings menu. Each link appears only when you have one of the permissions listed for it.
A Deployment group appears only on self-hosted deployments.
